About Louie

I am a native English teacher from the UK with a BA (Hons) degree, a Level 5 TESOL qualification, and a work permit and TRC in my country of residence.

I have more than 12 years of teaching experience, specialising in IELTS preparation, Business English, professional communication, and conversational English for adults. During this time, I have worked for accredited IELTS institutions and universities, including the University of Greenwich and Edulink Australia.

Through my IELTS teacher training and extensive exam preparation experience, I am able to accurately assess a student’s current level, identify areas for improvement, and provide clear, structured feedback to help them achieve their target band score.

Alongside teaching, I own and manage hospitality businesses in Vietnam and have first-hand experience of business communication, customer service, management, recruitment, and working in international environments. I have also worked in government departments, financial institutions, international NGOs, multinational corporations, and private businesses.

Outside work, I have a strong interest in literature, both reading and writing, as well as sport, music, food and travel.
